Adding Famous Copywriters to a Prompt Does Not Guarantee Expertise
Kieran tested Bard by asking for page recommendations based on well-known copywriters. Instead of producing genuinely new analysis, it repeated prior tips, attached copywriter names to them, and supplied dubious or fabricated attribution.
- Persona prompting does not automatically create expert reasoning
- Bard hallucinated copy that was not present on Zapier's homepage
- The model reused recommendations and bolted on famous names
- Generated quotations and attributions must be independently checked
“open chat gbt is far more accurate hallucinates far less than Bard”
“made up the reason the copywriter told me I should do this”
